I got to chaperone a field trip for Colin's class to Forbidden Caverns and the Bush Bean Factory Museum. It was a lot of fun. Colin had a blast. It was his first time riding a bus. His teacher said he looked out the window the whole ride.

They call this formation "The Sleeping Dragon"
This one looks like a bat hanging upside down.
I think this is a picture of the original entrance to the cave. The Indians and the Moonshiners used this entrance. It's a very small hole and a long steep climb down.
Longest Stalagtite in the cave.
I can't remember what kind of rock this is but it formed in the shape of a corn on the cob.
This formation looks like a dragon. The tour guide said that they call him Grover.
Colin and some guys from his class.
The only rock they were allowed to touch.
Finally got him to pose for a picture.
Colin and his girl!
Colin's class
Colin's not paying attention to me but the guy in front of him is!
Stopping for lunch
Found his girl again!
This is how the beans are shipped to the factory. That's a very big and heavy bag!
The class stepping on a scale together to see how much they weighed in beans.
Wow! Over 600,000 beans!
